A few days have passed and still, I cannot move on from Atarashii Gakko's 1st overseas opening number during 88Rising's Head in the clouds concert. (11/07/2021) My heart is still overflowing with happiness, with such joy that tears fall from my eyes each time I think about it. I can still feel my heart pounding hard, the chills when I hear the US crowd cheering for them all the way. The warmth, the acceptance that everyone has shown. The smile on everyone's face was priceless. Then it hits me, these girls have been through a lot....😔 From promoting themselves in some streets in Japan to getting support for funds online to produce their first single. Fron giving flyers, handouts, CDs, and posters to each bystander, establishment owner and customer that they can reach walking, carrying their backpacks all day long. When they were performing at local events mostly doing everything on their own. These extremely talented, beautiful, hardworking girls have paved their way from the corners of Japan to Hollywood's walk of fame and now performing in a location that can fit 25,000 heads You've come a long way.... 😭 As a fan, a crazy supporter, who's heart has been captured at first sight immediately after watching the MV of Gakko Ikeya, I can't be more proud of where they are right now.
